Food shopping and eating out while staying at
Hazelgove Self Catering Cottage, Loch Ness

As you have chosen a self catering cottage you will no doubt be cooking for yourselves on some nights during your stay, but you may also wish to try out some of the  excellent eating places in the area.

Hazelgrove is located 16 miles from both Inverness and Fort Augustus. There are a number of supermarkets in Inverness and couple of smaller foodstores in Fort Augustus. The village of Foyers is 2 miles from Hazelgrove and there is a small village shop and post office. Opening times and range of items available are a little restrictive in Foyers so you might prefer to head for Inverness if you have a larger shopping to do.

HAZELGROVE WELCOME BASKET
We provide a comprehensive basket of essentials to welcome you to Hazelgrove and ensure that you have the very basics for your first few hours in the cottage.

The welcome basket contains the following:-
Tea, Coffee, Sugar, Milk, Bread, Butter, Jam, Shortbread, Fruit, Cereal, Sausages or Bacon and a bottle of wine. And not forgetting the doggie biscuit for any four legged friends!

Tesco Online
As the wecome basket is essentially a "starter pack" you will want to do a larger shop to see you through most of your week at the cottage. Tesco Home Shopping Online is an excellent service which you can use to save time and avoid having to stock up the car when you leave home. If you place your order a few days in advance of your arrival at Hazelgrove, you can choose a delivery slot once you have settled in and to suit your own timescale.

The full address of the cottage is
Hazelgrove Cottage
Inverfarigaig

If you are asked for a telephone number, the number of the cottage is 01456 486250 although using your own mobile number may be more convenient as Tesco may phone to discuss your delivery or to amend the delivery time.
